Others though, choose to embrace the heat by setting their tongues on fire. If you’re the latter, then this recipe will hit the right notes for your fiery weekends. Perfect for small kids as well!

Spicy Grilled Shrimps Yum

Ingredients
  • 8 pieces extra-large shrimp Peeled
  • Bamboo skewers
Marinade
  • 1 cup Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 4 sprigs Fresh thyme
  • 4 cloves garlic Smashed
  • 1 clove Shallot Thinly sliced
Spice Rub
  • 2, 1/2 tablespoons Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoons Dry thyme
  • 1 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoons Oregano
Cook Time 1 Hour

Instructions
  1. Combine the ingredients for the marinade. Add the shrimp, cover, and chill for approximately 3 hours.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the spice rub ingredients and set aside.
  3. Remove the shrimp from the marinade, skewer onto bamboo skewers, and season with a pinch of the spice rub.
  4. Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat and grill the shrimp for 2 1/2 minutes on each side.
  5. Once you’re done, stick the shrimps on some coloured skewers and spread a dollop of honey to seal in the sweet deal!
