What do you like about Orchard Road?
It has just about anything. So, I guess that makes it very convenient. If we want two different things, we just come here. We will find them both.
What is your favourite place to eat and what do you normally order?
We usually go to the food court that is upstairs. There is a noodle stall that is quite good. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name.
Where do you like to shop around here?
One of our favourite places is Robinsons. The ambience there is nice. Shopping feels good there.
Why would you recommend the neighbourhood?
It is an easy place for shopping. Even if it is hot or rainy, you can access everything. It is also very connected to the MRT.

What do you like about Orchard Road?
I don’t like that it is sometimes too crowded, but if you come early in the morning during the weekends it is actually enjoyable. Then I really enjoy shopping here.
What is your favourite place to eat and what do you normally order?
I know there are a lot of restaurants here, especially in some of the hotels too. But if I eat here, then in a café or bakery, depending on what shopping centre I am in.
Why would you recommend the neighbourhood?
I would say that you shouldn’t come early in the weekend, because that’s when I am here, and I don’t like it crowded.

Why do you come to Orchard Road?
It is the best place for shopping. Even though there are many expensive shops, there are also many cheaper ones. Now, that there are sales, it is even better.
What is your favourite place to eat and what do you normally order?
I don’t usually come to Orchard to eat. But if I am hungry, I just get a snack or drink somewhere in one of the cafes.
Why would you recommend the neighbourhood?
Shopping. I think everybody comes here for the same reasons. Just before Christmas, it is really hectic. If you like crowds, it is perfect for you.

What do you like about Orchard Road?
It’s obviously good for shopping. I like that, no matter what I am looking for, I can find it somewhere here. So it is quite convenient. It is also accessible from most places.
What is your favourite place to eat and what do you normally order?
I normally don’t eat on Orchard Road, but there a nice café just behind Somerset. It is on Killiney Road and called Freshly Baked. It is very cosy there.
Why would you recommend the neighbourhood?
It is nice for shopping and window shopping. Sometimes I don’t even buy stuff, but just have a look and get an idea of what I want.

We actually don’t really frequent Orchard Road. But today we are here because of the sales.

We don’t have a particular favourite. We actually do foodpanda quite often. Our favourite place to order from there is Old Hong Kong Kitchen. If I were on Orchard Road and hungry, I would probably go to The Coffee Bean.

I would say go to H&M during sales – like us.
